why did i start this website?
i started this website becuase i'm sick of social media. ever since i was i kid i never liked
posting on social media wether it was my snapchat stories, instagram, tiktok or anything else. i
just felt that it was too revealing (idkk). the only app i've posted on is rednote because i
dont personally know anyone on that app so i feel more free to post.
Yesterday (01/29/2025), i fell down a rabbit hole of personal websites and the indieweb. a
youtube video by
stargirl lee came up on my youtuvbe recommended called
you should make a personal website and join the indie web ^_^
. i loved the video and visited her website and many others. after spending hours going from
website to website i decided to make my own. i like that the possiblilites are endless and i can
make my website reflect who i am and not have to fit into social media grids. i also like that i
can add whaterver i want text, pictures, videos all in one place instead of many different
social media sites.
the possibilites are endless but idk how to do any of that right now so i have
a lot to learn.
